That Austin taxi mash up is fascinating despite looking minging in every respect. Pretty sure that's a ca. 1991 mahogany effect bathroom shelf screwed to the dash. If that's the level of bodgery that's gone into it I expect the body's held to the chassis with bits of used garden twine.

At least you should shouldn't get the tweed pipe brigade tutting about anything you do spoiling it's heritage, it's a proper mongrel!

This Imp looks to be in a sulk to me.....

 

Not as much as mine, its been locked in a garage several miles away for 4 years now awaiting a respray. Its absolutely livid.

A FEW DAYS AGO THE ENGINE STARTED MISFIRING AND BUT ONLY AFTER IT HAD BEEN STARTED A MINUTE OR SO. ON INITIAL START UP

IT WAS FINE AND THEN IT WOULD START MISFIRING AND SMOKING AND POPPING. I THOUGHT IT WAS THE POINTS AND HAVE TAKEN IT
TO A LOCAL GARAGE WHO HAVE CHECKED THE TIMING , POINTS , PLUGS , LEADS ETC BUT ITS STILL THE SAME. DUE TO ONGOING 
BUILDING WORK AND OTHER COMMITMENTS AT HOME I DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO SPEND ON IT FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER YEAR
SO INSTEAD OF PARKING IT UP AGAIN I HAVE RELUCTANTLY DECIDED TO SELL IT.

 

This cant be hard to fix. 

 

 

 

I KNOW IT WILL BREAK FOR MORE

 

Its already broken. 

 

 

£1,750

 

Bit much if you cant be arsed getting it running but it cant be a difficult fix this. Maybe worth the money to someone looking for on of these, they are PHIT
