ABSOLUTLY PRISTINE

I think I've been using that word incorrectly all my life, how embarrassing.

Car's okay really. But was it was imported from a dry state?

FROM PENSILVANIA

I Google Image Searched "pencil vania" and got a photo of a drag queen driving a Morris Minor pickup. I'd link the video if Tapatalk didn't automatically embed.

AAH! I was wrong! There's a plasma ball and plastic cup receptacle. It's an experience all right.

01704 5... a southport number.  I'm pretty sure that my son once went in this about 12 years ago when he was in primary school.  It's the sort of half arsed birthday party experience you get up in North Miseryside. (We had kids parties at Awesome Walls Climbing Centre)

I imagine it was a right lash together job given Rover has absolutely no history of making RELIABLE AND RUST FREE turbo charged motors.

Dunno, it didn't do too bad a job on the MG Metro \ Maestro \ Montego range. The latter was a sodding quick car for its time.

I had a facelift Metro Turdo in white, and quite frankly a bigger effort of bodgery would be hard to achieve.

That I loved it, when it ran right, does not forgive it or Austin for the problems.

Most of the early AXs seem to be GTs these days, so this '88 car at £250 (or less maybe?) is pretty tempting...
