Velshatis with the if you really have to have one best to get it with the 350z engine fro 595 quid. Gearbox is borked obviously

Just stick some redex or bovril or something in, it'll be fine

Hmm.  That's not all that much more than I paid for mine.  The 350Z engine is probably less likely to shit itself too.  The gearbox already has, but I rarely drive for more than an hour at a time so probably wouldn't be a major issue.  Oh well.

Lovely car. Does it have a custom dashboard installed very poorly?

Of course it does! I never tire of these. I particularly like the "falling Jenga tower" theme.

I like this MOT advisory for general shittiness.

Especially since it's not that bad with the exception of this:

Look at this gloriously hideous lump, it's like the Panther 6 of Autoshite trumps

Engine/gearbox combo: 1.3 Auto

Interior plastics: Caramac

Giffered panels: 5

Gaffer rolls used: 4

Number plates: Mismatched, one in serck

Desirability outside Autoshite circles: 0.00013%

Your move

It has one trump card, however: the most desirable engine for the 1300cc autograss category. Worth as much as the rest of the car put together! ;-)

Driving that GS must feel like piloting the Starship Enterprise (or Red Dwarf or something).

Yo Twigggy, what search criteria are you using to find these beauties*?

Looking at that Datsun had me drooling, if it had been an auto it would be sat outside and fuck the neighbours/parking problems! So I started looking at other Datsuns for sale and my word, the old crap that used to get sent straight to auction/scrap does seem to fetch an alarming amount of dosh these days doesn't it?  I'd love an old Datsun again, there's a 120Y in blue which is exactly the same as I bought for my girlfriend as her first car - £600 back then, now multi thousand!
