That poor car, has nobody told them it is considered unlucky to mount a horseshoe upside down

It's the Croatian way, there's one in my boiler house the same.

£450 on Classic Scrapyard finds on Facebook. T&T'd until November I imagine this will have Cavcrafts senior management breaking out in a rash.

This needs to be bought by someone (other than Dugong and Dollywobbler) who has connections with Classic Car Buyer, and someone else needs to buy an Escort van - then do a group test of them!

I want to like the Tickford Metro.

I can't get over the idea that if it wasn't a Tickford, it would just be a butt-ugly bodykit designed by someone who had never seen a Metro before.

Christ a real Tickford! These looked so cool back in the day, in promo bumph handed out to impressionable teenagers like me at Motorfair.

Then with age you realise that "coachbuilding" just means some planks of wood nailed all over the interior with lacquer/leathercloth applied to suit

"The handbrake cable has snapped on one side so struggles to hold the car on hills etc, but this never bothered me ......although a more inexperienced or nervous driver may want to fix this".

Or a responsible owner.

"Also the speedometer function is intermittent and comes on and off as it pleases, again this never troubled me as is easy to work out your speed from the gear you are in and engine revs."

MENSA candidate.
