I do like this. I hope it doesn't end up as a another diff welded drifting POS.

 

I had a 2.0 GLS one of these as my second every car after my Cortina failed it's MOT on terminal grot. I got it off an old giffer couple for 120 quid with 8months T&T and it was a serious POS.

I've never had a car break down and use as much fuel and generally give me as much grief as this. I replaced it with a Citroen BX GT, which was about 20 times more reliable. It was that bad!

Bloody buggering hell! I've been watching all the RR and Bentley auctions and sales for the past month or two and missed that bugger. There is another one for sale complete with its hideous fake wire wheels these originally came with still fitted (the auction one comes with them, but why the hell would you want them?) and that's up at £32K. Shall I stick a cheeky bid in?

 

Do you thing £500 and a dead rabbit would buy it?

Purpleness, None as good as the Cortina's hue. But why is the nsf wheel further forwards than the osf?

Hey, seeing all these purple cars has reminded me of legendary eBay non-seller "purplehorse". Has anyone seen any of his ropey old stock about recently? Maybe he just packed it all in and topped himself when he finally twigged that nobody was gonna pay four grand for a shonky old Ital estate
