Looks alright that 740 (although the flat face is much nicer), but how the flip do you find out where a car is located on that Autotrader nonsense?

Use three different postcodes a good distance apart, note the distance from each and draw lines on a map. They like to make it easy for you.

Edit - actually, draw circles. Easier still.

That 1800 in that colour is identical to the one a workmate of my dad had in the early 70's.

Except his was an auto and one morning he rushed out ,late for work, fired it up, put it in drive, put his foot down, that was when he remembered the Krooklock round the brake pedal and steering on full lock....

Seemed to remember it pushed a Mini Clubman sideways through a fence, writing that and the 1800 off.

How can you be sitting in a car and not know theres a flipping krooklok on it? You've got a right battle to even get sat down with it in place! I call bo11ox.

^ not so sure I have met some people who are really too stupid to be let out on their own so they are out there. We had two different neighbours who managed to put automatics through their own garage walls, I don't think crooklocks were involved, just stupidity.

On a separate note, is anyone else getting warnings from their anti-virus when looking on ebay? I keep getting notifications that it's blocking something.

Wonder if an autogyro could be made from an old ride-on rotary mower and a wind turbine blade? For those who prefer vtol and so helicopters (autogyros are way safer - if the engine fails, you glide down), this is perhaps the autoshite equivalent?

No, I saw the aftermath, he lived a couple of streets away and my dad took me with him to laugh,I mean help clear up.

Could be something to do with the ' bus like' steering wheel position on ADO 17s or maybe he was pissed, this was the 70's and he was a bus driver going in for an evening shift!
