The only proper way to administer air and fuel to an engine is by means of a carburetter or three.

Or have you seen God and Ettore Bugatti use fuel injection?

504 Injection will have the Kugelfischer KF2 system. Should be about Ã‚Â£300 for a full strip and service assuming nothing needs replacing. And you can find somebody to do it. Will be a pig if it's not running right and in no way, shape or form is it DIY-able. Should also run beautifully if it's set up properly. I can't be held to that, as the 404 has never run 'right' but I can only imagine what a beauty it would be with a fully-functioning fuel system.

Must get that car on the road this year...
