This is ace, but even more ace is this Tron inspired dash display.

These were two a penny when I was growing up in the 80s as I lived around the corner from a Citroen garage.

Sadly these are a very rare sight on UK roads these days but I have to say the GSA is a strangely attractive car.

Today, I have mostly been preventing myself from bidding on this...

Wrong side of the Pond, but a hell of a tool for lugging around the musical offspring's percussion instruments 8)

Buy it, import it, get tired of it and sell it to me at a massive loss.

And after Richard, me! 8)

It's had new brakes recently though which is good...

Unfortunately, the roof is jammed in the half up/half down position, but this does provide excellent ventilation into the cabin seeing as the Air Con controls are a little scorched

Not sure if the handbrake is working though...

Could be as easy as pressing a button underneath the seat. They have an inertia switch that cuts out the electrics in an accident. This could have activated itself due to old age.

The other culprit could be a defective ignition switch, or the multipoint plug underneath the steering column has come undone.

That leggy estate is lovely, one of the best eBay ads I've seen to date too, I'd feel confident handing the seller cash monies.

Just to follow up on the orange R5.

Yes I have bought it, but not without a fight.

The phone was red hot last night as he had higher and higher offers. But credit due, I upped my offer and he kept it for me.

Set off at 7 this morning and all went well, I even took it to see the sea!

Well when you were born at the sea side and then end up living in land locked Leicester, you have to take every chance you get. 14 degrees and bright sunshine.

The car is a little rusty, but 100% original, which is the main thing for me.

The oldest? I would say so, date of registration 11-04-1973.

Happy days...

I can't recall how old the ex-me, now-Bickle Renault 5 was. Definitely 1973. The thought of the two cars meeting at some point makes me feel a bit squiffy!
