Loving the tin of hammerite but not sure about the ½ concrete fence post in the boot?

Some sort of buoyancy aid?

Let me think about this one for a moment.

Yup - I don't fancy cleaning those stains either, matey.

An Isle of Wight registered car from 1958 that is still on the Island. It’s going to get the fright of its life if it gets bought by somebody on the mainland.

I have thrown a bid in to try and prevent that happening, I think it’s going to go for more than I can go to though. It was advertised locally for £3800 last year and sold to the person selling it now I believe.

Bloody hell

Even if you had the world's strongest sphincter, that sort of impact is going to send your guts through your anus.

I am trying to work out what happened there. Either a motorcyclist lost their life, or the driver sent it backwards into a lamp post at 80mph. Which seems an unusual accident for a FWD Golf.

Maybe hankering back to his days of owning an early Mini

I think he may have stuffed it into the tree that's in the photo - it's got some damage and there's green bits on/in the car.
Like you say though - how? It looks square on to the back - maybe some reversing/hand brake turn trick that went pear shaped.
Think I'd just bridge it if t'were mine.

This is an unusual beast - Benelli Adiva, basically a floppytop BMW C1.

So it's a convertible version of a moped with a roof then - got it.
