eBay tat volume 3.

I thought it was Junkman? Anyway, the Mayflower might be the only two door car to have rear quarterlights. I can't think of another.

There were these....

1950 Ford tudor.    I think someone thought these doors were wobbed up on a previous Ebay Tat Thread listing.

Understandable, its a bonkers design.    Which is why I want one.

This is (not) wonderfully appealing

Full marks for the equal ops policy of getting a blind or partially sighted person to do the pics

So, where is this, bargain situated, oh hurrah!

WE ARE ON THE ISLE OF WIGHT SO WINNING BIDDER WILL HAVE TO GET FERRY OVER TO COLLECT TRUCK,

IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A CHEAP OLD TRUCK IT WOULD NOT TAKE LONG TO PAY FOR ITSELF!

Well not if your definition of "not long" is "an infinite amount of time", no.

MEGA_LOLZ at the way someone's cobbled the beavertail end of the back onto that.

Apparently the last MOT for the questionable Mini expired in 2014.

Do they really get that rotten so quick?! Or is that more proof it isn't what it seems?

I have to say with these Porsche Covin copies I find it hard to tell them from original 911's.

Well, until you put the bonnet up anyway. Ford CVH powered 911, take that to pebble beech.

^^^Did the rear main windows wind down?

Those pre aircon era yanks were designed for maximum ventilation ability.

Usually all windows were downwindable, there were vent windows everywhere and big air vents in the dashboards and kick panels.

That's very near me. I have nowhere to keep it though. WANT.

Rent you some storage in Buckie?!

If this car were a horse it'd have just been taken outside to be shot

'THIS WOULD MAKE A GOOD RS500 COSWORTH RE-SHELL'

No it wouldn't, it'd make a good 1.6 3 door with dangly mirrors, not some fucking stupid 'whale tailed' bubble arched bag of bollocks with a stolen engine.

I disagree. It needs a V8, and Banded Steel wheels.

Needs a 1.3 for total misery spec.

The one's I looked at with 12 months MOT, all had dubious amounts of rot, and the one's I've owned (4 in total between 1988 and 2011) would probably fail an MOT 3 weeks after passing one. The rust just reappeared like cancer somewhere else on the car, plus if you put a biscuit tin over the rust it lasts about 3 months.

Needs a 1.3 and an automatic box for total misery spec.

Fixed that for you.

I imagine some sort of Zetec with 200 bhp would fit on the gearbox of a CVH ?

I am liking it too. Apart from the DODGY registration documents

Used to take loads of these from central Scotland to Hull L8 90s. For Russian cargo ships return voyages. Ruskies apparently stripped them on board and threw the shells overboard (citation needed).

I wonder if a single one of those 1.3 Pintos has survived?

I was just starting to think maybe I was been mean and should give the seller the benefit of the doubt

Oh....

As far as I can tell, the boot badge is correct for 1972, not 1980, but the steering wheel isn't.

Rear lights definitely aren't 1972, but they wouldn't be that hard to change.

I was browsing a mini spotter forum with loads of detail on how to spot fakes when a huge virus warning popped up so I gave up.

It would be interesting see the Chassis plate vs the V5c.

but probably not that interesting...I'm boring myself here.

There's a scooter like mine on Gumtree for £650, wanna give me £575 for mine? Thought not.
