Photo skillz award - that's the only exterior picture showing the "carcass" - although reading on, it's not clear if the carcass is still fitted.

This is a really unusual vehicle. Originally a flatbed truck, somebody took a handful of them and put caravan carcasses on the back.

We have spent around £8,000 on her plus what we spent to buy her. We've had the caravan taken off and all the body work done, structurally she is sound. We have had other bits and pieces done to make her road worthy but she does need work particularly to the breaks. She is missing the left hand wing mirror.

The mini breaks presumably?

We also took our rather large dog with us.

Really - you don't mention bringing the dog back - did you eat it on the way?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Triumph-dolomite-1850-rolling-project-not-barn-find-/322326984710

Buy this "no MoT" rather than some shagged out scrote dustbin etc

I rather have an itch for another of these and the webasto ticks a box - shame I have a) no money and B) no space

I wonder how many of the 39 bidders realise that the "The last few pictures of the vehicle in the listing,  are of the condition of the Mercedes before it was parked up."

jaguar mk1 saloon 1957 Barn find

Off the scale wantness for this.

Preserve it as it is to gaze at. so it wont get worse before the money pit recommission

Luckily (for Mrs Thestag) no spare cash, and way to many projects on the go already

Some interesting stuff on the blue at the moment.

HGSKVAN.jpg

4.0 v8 petrol

The MOT is until 24/01/2017

£650

It is possibly an ex service vehicle (highways or police?) it has an extra tray in the boot and some stickers in the cab, i have no paperwork to back this up but it is specced like a service vehicle not having electric seats, air conditioning, cruise control or sat nav all of which are notoriously troublesome on P38's. It also has 260k on, only the government could afford to put that many miles on!

£1k, 100kmiles and a good MOT history. Just needs smaller wheels and velour seat covers. How much to Oldham?

Better colour, better wheels, more miles and more money. Seat covers needed again.

But the winner for Holiday '17 has to be -

Beige LDV full of secondhand furniture, Granny annexe kitchen and Gruffalo upholstery.

Now, where shall we go?

To the funny farm after dropping 9k into that.

If at first you don't succeed, keep fixing it until it's dead.
