Jim Bell
Module 19. Redemption. Be aware that no matter how many set backs or failures you may suffer, there will always be people around you that will support you and who will offer you real and inexpensive options to improve your appropriately priced car lusting situation. This is true ESPECIALLY in a community such as ours. Remember you are NOT alone and that there are more than enough people here that understand your compulsion who are happy to guide you safely. See fig k9. After being disappointed before the last planned collection, a rainbow developed over the site of my disappointment and on Wednesday coming I will head off toward a helpful, handsome shitter sat on a pot of gold at the far end of the Cresent stripes. I will head north (the best direction), to pick up something neither shite nor auto. It's -16 god damn degrees on the thermometers tonight. Hopefully the sun will shine again before mid week. Uncle Jimmy
Dr Bell, can you help me?I was in bed with Dawn, a fit 22 yr old receptionist from the local swimming baths I've been seeing. I was unable to initiate coitus due to lack of penile blood pressure until I fantasised about a Mazda 626. I now feel guilt about having these intense thoughts about the Mazda and I'm left feeling worried what effect it may have on any relationship I might initiate with other cars in the future? Jim Bell
Once you've had an idea, sometimes it's hard to ignore or get past it. This is often the case when I see a car I could buy tomorrow. It's clear that I shouldn't buy a car. But that doesn't stop the urge from building. If you wait long enough and talk to yourself for long enough, you can always justify another car in your own mind eventually. And once the decision is made, there's usually no going back. mrbenn, cms206, dome and 8 others
Jim Bell
So this morning was an early start and a short uphill train ride to SCOTCH for something shiny fast and not in keeping at all with the ethos of Autoshite. *Shrugs* You know how it goes. Car, train, train. And hurtling away into the darkness we do go. dome, mrbenn, cms206 and 8 others

Jim Bell
Mrs RML kindly picked me up from the station in the chosen steed and I had enough time to have a look at Mr RMLs ex-EVERYONE 740 wagon before heading down the 68 for some A road action. Had great fun but about half way home I opened the driver's window for some fresh air and noticed a metallic grinding/screeching noise coming from the general engine area. I stopped and checked the oil. Plenty of oil in so that left me out of ideas. I closed the window and pushed on. Noise got worse. Jim Bell
The A road was eaten up, the car boosted ok, there was no plumes of smoke so I thought fuck it and cannonballed to Morpeth ish. Car was washed before I picked it up but by now it was filthy. Just so nobody gets it confused with the propper Autoshite Mini. shoddybanger, privatewire, Eddie Honda and 11 others

Jim Bell
Got home, gave it a wash and filled it up. It drives lovely and I really like it but there's definitely something untoward under the bonnet. Petrical shot. A few people have had a listen and amateur opinions vary. It MIGHT be; Supercharger eating itself.(you're meant to reoil them but folk rarely do because it means taking the front of the car off and removing the charger.) Crank pulley / harmonic balancer. There's vids on pootube of this mallady and certainly sounds similar. An pulley or tensioner. Certainly sounds like something of this nature on its last lickings. It's to be investigated anyway. Jim Bell
Enterior. Not bad on the old juice and emmpeggers. Carbin. Badger. Boot too wee for a spare. Flaps. All in all its a lovely sprightly gadabout. Plans are fix whatever is making DEATHNOISE, put it on some 15 inch steels and trims, probably a smaller charger pulley and enjoy even more. yes oui si, drum, egg and 3 others
