NorthernMonkey
As long as it hasn’t got overly contaminated with DOT4. Really sat on the fence at the minute...it doesn’t help that I’ve just sat and read the van thread on RR again. Grrrr.

The Moog
You know that you will apply logic and then ignore it and fix the sick puppy. You cant help but fall for the unloved! NorthernMonkey
Andyrew
Bloody hot rod scene tax that is. No euro's mega mega flash sales on at the moment? The Moog
Bren
That is expensive. I'd just chance a cylinder and clean the plates with brake cleaner. beko1987
Eddie Honda
Bugger me. Have you seen the price of clutch kits for these things? £240 for the plate and cover + £190 for the slave cylinder. This may need a rethink. £211 and £146 @ monsieur auto. NorthernMonkey
It shouldn’t actually need the clutch plate itself...cheapest I can get hold of the CSC is about £135 so it could be worse. As I said, it’s mainly the timing that’s crap. Plan was for Claire to use it for another week or two whilst I get ‘her’ aero estate finished and tested then use it myself for another couple of weeks whilst I get my new trailer lugger (collection thread coming soon, folks) sorted and tested which is replacing the XC90 that’s got various transmission related faults and has just about reached the end of its economical lifespan. Anyway, it’s off down to the farm this afternoon to swap places with the Saab next to the Moogs Rover 800. That’ll teach it, the ungrateful Austrian twat.
