Yarn and old cars.

Doesn't the SD1 belong to Lightbulbfan's neighbour? I remember him posting a picture of it.

Yeah, he recognised the Rover as a local car when posted under #yarnandoldcars last year - then went back and made his own version with a light bulb the same shade.

do I get bonus points if the Lightbulb in the picture is older then the car in the picture?  (the Tube is from December 1972)

for those wondering (which probably aint many) a better picture of the Tube in question can be found here http://autoshite.com/topic/30877-what-makes-you-grin-antidote-to-grumpy-thread/page-1692?do=findComment&comment=1656236 :)

I also have a front on view picture of the SD1 here http://autoshite.com/topic/32723-wanted-an-invacar-ac-model-70-and-general-ramble-thread/?p=1579986 ,behind the SD1 is where I more or less plan to park my future Model 70, I mean going by the moss on the pavement no one ever goes there so it should be relatively safe :)

I could do yarn and new cars but all I would need would be silver/gray/dark red yarn.

Actually that'd be no fun at all.

Love the "Anchorage Guerilla Knitters" that do this sort of thing.

A mate of mine's Mrs used to knit me a monstie for each car, and they used to be strategically placed in the cabins.

Here's one who I thought of today.
