French and Belgian shite spotting - MYSTERY CAR

Recommended Posts

It looks similar but it doesn't have the vents along the engine (?) hatch below the rear window. I'm guessing it's rear engined, I didn't think to look.

I'm not sure if it's a Glas either.

Here's another mystery car, it's a bit easier.adc57d496835536795528845fecfc692.jpg

I am rubbish at this but do enjoy the expertise of other shiters - keep 'em coming.

The rest of the cars here are too identifiable so I cannot continue this game. Many mobile artisan coffee shop opportunities.

Maybe be a BBQ chicken wagon, with all of those trees around.

Aye I think so.

Anyone noticed the latest ad to feature a 504 Coupe, the one with Martin Freeman and a mobile phone company?

Directors seem to think they must be the ultimate in obscure cool, and that no one will recognise it (they've even blanked out the steering wheel badge).

Always remember Jack Dee driving one at the start of his TV show.

Nice pics. So what's the deal with this place, then? A random find or a must-see holiday destination?

Not a random find sadly, it's on the "urban exploration" trail.

There used to be some vintage cars in better nick in the sheds on the site but they're gone now, hopefully rescued.

There's more in the woods...

Meanwhile, in Belgium.

I'd love a 2.4 TD Kappa. Semi luxurious car with a velour seats, not that leather trash.

In the shed behind the Kappa an S Class lurks.

These T3s are atrocious things. My dad had a crew cab with a 1.6 diesel that could barely shift a Golf. They do look good though.

Kia Retona, a modernised Asia Rocsta apparently.

DO NOT PAINT.

Wait, there's more.

Pleasingly basic 309 diesel, GED I think? It was on black and silver plates too. I saw quite a few 80s and 90s French cars in Northern France, including someone servicing a scruffy 205's rear beam. Too shy to take many photos of cars in public places though.

Fugging nettles, I'm not going in there with my shorts on.

Most of the cars here are crash damaged, this BX doesn't look too bad.

Nettles. R9.

Business opportunity: rust free C15 bonnets, ship to the UK for pennies of profit.

I'd have brought some back if Ms. Peel hadn't filled the car with marble table tops, hardcover books and typewriters made from lead.

SLAMMED.

I hope UK Customs didn't pull you over and make you take all that out! :-)
