They've got a convertible one of these in Ellesmere Port auction yard, I believe it's still there, in the corner, looking unloved.

Cars languishing in auction yards, unloved, are unloved for a reason...I know where there's a tidy looking Maserati BiTurbo Spyder languishing in an upmarket car specialists 'death row' and it's been there for years - because it's got issues and nobody is stupid enough to take them on, not even me. It can no doubt be bought for a song, and bodliy it appears fine, but it's a bloody BiTurbo and having played with one of those once, I'm never going to do it again. Well, unless I can get it for £350.

well, Pete-Mthe description on retro rides is accurate. I bought it in April and do love it but it ain't getting the approval of the "Finance Director" because of the jarring suspension and the dodgey lap belts.I'm moving the fleet towards more of a British feel and in the last 2 months have sold my:volvo 940 Sport estateSaab 900 16v TurboDaf 55 Marathonand am bringing ina mint 1955 Moggy series 2a scruffy Daimler XJ6 Series 3with the Volvo 850 AWD as well running cost budgets have to be watched. To be honest, I'm happy to keep the LeB but doubt I will use it enough especially in Edinburgh

Heh, I've got an 850 T5, I know how you feel. You couldn't be tempted by a P6 3500 could ya? 12 months MOT, free tax (expires March). Could do with all its wings sorting, but it's otherwise sweet as a nut..(A man's gotta try)

for a swapsey?

I could certainly be interested - always loved the big rovers but never owned one. Are you sure - the lebaron looks pretty and with polish it does have an effect on ladies (well the sort who are desperate to be impressed by cheesey wannabes like me) but it is as good example of transatlantic autoshite that you can find.

It's a reliable amusing car provided you don't mind its electrical accesories being slightly eccentric and that you don't hit too many cobbles/potholes.

drop me an email to either [email protected] or [email protected]

aye

The VR4 is a facelift, UK spec, Type S jobbie, one of 200. Other than the wheels it's as it left the factory.

Located 17 miles from the Grantham's A1 and may deliver subject to prior paymeent and transport arrangement - this is for sale having had little or no use since MOT as since its owner has lost his space due to move. You won't get less used than that for the time he had it (Hi'er Fred. How was Butline's!)

("Sheer Ness"!)

This low mileage model has uniquely leather-like (don't think it's leather but never seen anything like it) interior, enduringly classic lines is in its original colour with original matching carpet.

Can be viewed by appointment anytime prior to bidding as the bid/offer is to buy not come and look.

The advantage of extra alarm (remote) etc and some thousands spent in maintenance including bills including for a soft top in recent years with stereo. The car can be delivered to anywhere where by prior consideration by its current owner for an agreed prepaid transport cost and price for the car subject to prior payment.

This opportunity with its history under this offer shall make it not only a rare item but also a very delightful item to use.

Some more detail for perusement of its owner. Contact on 07947 ****** essentially as I will not always be on line to write answers to your questions due to family comittments.

Bow Street Runners "The" early police force to stop the London beer running was Britains parallel history to days of the horsedrawn carriage and the Wells Fargo stage - the caption of the dog re the general stage office wall is well known. We've come a long way since Britain annexed the lands of East of Mississippi, France and a few islands re the Seven Years War I guess. And many years since we come even less Long Ago And Far Away as the song says in time since 1911 for instance when London gave up horse-drawn autobuses. A car to put the hood down and enjoy the sunshine. Ponder this of its owner:

Q Car

"Guild the lake with Lilly flowers..."

Wile away the evening hours

I picknicked with just rear basket near

Thatchers drone to summer skies.

Fighters folk of Royce silent still "piu sotto" voice

Rolls which desert rat bore heat to bleak mid winter hours

If I were a wise man

I would do my part

With this dream from Rolls Royce cars

Bader flew with so much less

One faith we seek so much for more that I so humbly must that this as if his cue

Your car as I must part

The only actual fault known is the electric top does not go all the way without a manual push part way - it may need oil top up in the hood motor but it hasnt been cheecked though it was replaced last Spring.

The soft top which replaced the original cost £500.

The car as the larger engine of two or three sizes.

The alarm is a Clifford & also raises the electric windows and bleeps. It will also do this on simply locking the car

he is extraordinary. In all that pish and wind he's said very little of importance about the car. 500 quid for a new roof - aye right. You can get kits for $250.
