yes oui si Posted June 25, 2018 Author Posted June 25, 2018 Good luck. Mk1's are inching up in value, well if they are a 2 litre or V6, and I'm sure these will follow. There's no reason why a well maintained 93-00 Mondeo can't be a realistic daily for years to come.Yup... The way I look at it is that they were designed so that Darren the Account Executive could pound up and down the M6 for 1,500 miles every week chasing that leatherette attaché case the boss promised if he met his targets, so bimbling around town and doing a few longer trips is nothing to them. egg 1

yes oui si Posted June 26, 2018 Author Posted June 26, 2018 And where would these sacred pies be sourced ?Either Skelly's in Berwick or the butcher in Norham. Jim Bell 1
garbaldy Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 Ooh formans butchers that's definitely an incentive for buying the car, Jim Bell and yes oui si 2
yes oui si Posted June 26, 2018 Author Posted June 26, 2018 Ooh formans butchers that's definitely a insensitive for buying the car,I judge a butcher by the quality of their scotch pies, links and ribeye.
yes oui si Posted June 26, 2018 Author Posted June 26, 2018 In fact, I'm gonna go grab a couple before work if they aren't sold out.. Jim Bell 1

sierraman Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 It's a shame we can't fill a barn with these for when they are worth a trillion quid in 10 years. yes oui si 1
yes oui si Posted June 26, 2018 Author Posted June 26, 2018 I don't think you'd want to eat a ten year old pie. They don't age like whisky does. Jim Bell, aldo135 and hairymel 3
yes oui si Posted June 28, 2018 Author Posted June 28, 2018 Would probably say yes if one of you lot offered £450
Jim Bell Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 Its not over till the fat lady sings man. All the bidding is usually in the last minute or 30 seconds. yes oui si 1
yes oui si Posted July 1, 2018 Author Posted July 1, 2018 Aye, plenty watchers. It's weird - I never bid until the last ten seconds and usually only sell via classified ad, so people bidding early seems fucking bizarre to me. Why drive up the price sooner than you have to? If I decided it was worth £400 to me as a buyer, I'd set something like £408.39 as my max price and bang it in at the last second - if it goes over then so what? Was always gonna go for more than I wanted to pay. The last £100ish has been the same two people bidding against each other... Floatylight 1
sierraman Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 It surprises me how much people pay for cars they've never seen. They could steaming heaps of shit and they commit to way over the odds. yes oui si 1
yes oui si Posted July 1, 2018 Author Posted July 1, 2018 This is why i always make an effort to mention and photograph (if possible) any problem areas. I always offer to deliver the car as well; not only because not everyone can be arsed to collect from here, but because I sell working cars, and ones which I trust to take me to the other end of the country if needs be. yes oui si Posted July 2, 2018 Author Posted July 2, 2018 Happy with that. Was it one of you lot? egg 1
