Second Cortina to have been stolen in Caterham since 2016.

Yes my mates works van had one fitted, tracked to a car park then went dead, van hasn't been recovered.

I think you have to be quite clever where you hide the tracker. Could be wrong but I think there are ways of blocking them as well. You can but try though.

 

I'd love to know where all these classic thefts end up?

These trackers are RF, GPS and sim card.

 

 

From the videos, people block the GPS. But the RF always gets through.

Surely people must smell a rat when offered an immaculate door on a car that's supposedly broken for spares.

 

Can remember years ago in the classifieds in Car Mechanics there used to be someone in the West Midlands advertising complete interiors and bodykits in 'mint cond' for some seriously rare stuff all in perfect nick. Used to think surely its all nicked stuff.
