Back when I used to know about bikes, these BMWs were always a bit clever with their fiendish front suspension that eased you through corners at speeds that seemed impossible with their bulk.  And that's just the riders.

The instrument cluster in this is exactly the same as it is in the Swift of the same period except they gave these a 6 digit odometer but the Swift got only 5 and the fuel empty and temp high lines are red instead of just white. I guess the production costs are different enough to where it makes some kind of financial sense but still, why?

 

Edit: seems very few of them has this instrument cluster too, only found one other.

Edit 2: Some US spec versions of the Swift have 6 digits but others have 5. I'm sure it made sense to some accountant somewhere.
