What a terrible thing to do to a CF.

Yer daft bugger!

Good looking van though, shame about the Devil's Fuel.  (The pink one...)

Yes, I noticed that.  It fails on only four counts, which isn't bad really.

1: Cash sale, not a swopper

2: Diesel

3: Project

4: Plastic front

I reckon I could probably compromise on point 4 but the others are pretty fixed.  Which probably means I'll HAVE TO on 4.

As jokes go, I can see this one running and running, and while it does, I'm going to enjoy all these lovely sexy vans you're showing me.  Keep it up, it's good for me!

In Italy customising CF2s so they look almost, but not quite, entirely unlike a certain GMC Vandura is apparently a thing.

Realistically, that's the one I'll end up with (again; I've already got one painted to match the van I owned 35 years ago).

Hmmm yeah, the CF. It's got it where it counts.

Would, given unlimited funds and storage.

Like that ex gas board CF. Be great to see that saved.

Yes, and ideally it needs a Shiter, to preserve some of that patina.  You can't trust actual restorers, they... well... restore stuff.

I don't know, it would look great in the original blue and white livery with GAS on the side, I've never seen another preserved. I think the GAS board ones had a different spec with an opening out door on the side.

My memory of the CF as a kid was our icecream man had one in yellow, it was full of Wob and he had no teeth, coupled with a thick south Yorkshire accent made it difficult for people to understand what the hell he was on about.

What you need is a trip to Australia, plenty of CFs to choose from. Most with tasty Holden engines for extra grunt.
