My 2005 Jaguar S Type - **May be on its way back**

Don't want the warranty, it's a 13 year old car, irrespective who you buy it from, if it blows up after 6 months its your problem. Once had an RAC warranty, it wouldn't cover shit. Everything basically hinged on fair wear and tear.

I've got a good enough garage looking after my cars that I dont need a warranty!

Cheeky fucker!

The guy selling the car to me was saying even if I sell my Jag I have to sell it as spares or repair, or it'll come back on me if there's a problem as private seller. He really was spouting the shit to get me to buy! Hence my car was only worth £400 quid trade value.

I had a guy a while back who told me he was a trader and gave me the same crap. I told him it was sold as spares or repairs anyway so if it blew up on the way back home that was his problem.

You can find and buy the very same warranty yourself if you want one.  He's just covering his arse for the known faults and will defer all post-sale responsibility to the warranty firm instead.  The warranty will be in your name, not his, and all phone calls will be by you

The way he said it, he said He would have to make the calls etc and his mechanics would take a look first then sort out warranty etc.  Gave me a speech about he sold a Kia Picanto which had a design flaw with the cam shaft, it snapped and the car was brought back to him and he had to stump up £2000 for a new engine.

Oh I forgot to mention, ABS light was on on that Volvo too, was told he had the part ready to fit but never has.

I imagine it would of cost me a packet in repairs that Volvo.

Good old Cazana, it'll be nice and clean such as those pics shortly - just whacked her in at Valeters!

Though shes missing her Leaper in those pics! I have posted this car on the S Type owners group and someone has come forward saying they have the same car, with almost Identical plates... One Letter off on the end.

Camelot also pulled the Euro plate off and snuck one of theirs on too

Alloys are a bit scuffed and shit now, not from me but previous owner! Shame, I would of gotten them refurbished if I was keeping. They still look all right.

I should be getting my 75 back (ex 6cyl) from getting the MOT work done tomorrow, then time for retest, so if you're into a swapz, that is fine by the Missus as she has deigned to agree with me for once ;)

Am meeting a fellow shiter this very evening who is taking my Pug 405 away to pastures new, the want for fresh chod is great :)

Just as long as that can't be tracked back to this thread ;)

Drives great he says in the add, yes... compared to a shed with 3 wheels and a wonky door.

No need to be rude about my Reliant

Your Reliant, undoubtedly drives better than that Volvo, I'm sure.

It's a 2002, 2.5 petrol auto in cloth, I think it's the SE?

I haven't taken many pics of it at all, I'll get it back tomorrow hopefully and get it washed and put an advert up on here or something, there was a for sale thread by 6 cyl which had a few details, got to nip out to the train station now to pick up my Pug's new shite owner, so no time to trawl thru just yet, more to follow :)

Yes she's a high miler, but runs absolutely spot on, sat at 85 I mean 70 no bother, plenty of power and is very smooth! Has been mechanically looked after just not cosmetically!

But I shall make her right!

Could do with a new screen on that radio mind.......

It's a Conny SE!

It certainly doesn't drive like its done that many miles!
