Theres also a little drive out that we are having next weekend,

We're meeting at the Carpark at Whitby Abbey Sunday 7th June @ 10am

The Plan is to have a drive out into the moors, take some pics, maybe stop for a pub lunch then back to the Abbey Carpark for around 4ish

 

Also, Friday 3rd July from 4pm until dusk, there is a fantastic show in Thornes Park, Wakefield (WF2)

Its always a really good show, very relaxed and plenty of variety

Citroen GS/GSA rally near Farnham 6th and 7th June (7th is the main day) - open to old Renaults too it seems. I took the R30 there in 2007 - a pleasant day out if you're local.

R6, R8, 750, R16, R20, R30, GS, GSA, BX, CX, Ami, Visa, SM, DS, 2CV, Dyane, Allegro all seen there when I attended. Plus assorted old farm machinery in the Rural Life Centre where the event is held.

I'm a bit ashamed to say that I've never done the Chappel beer festival, Always talked about it, (I'm from Colchester as well) But it's never happened.Never been to the Tiptree Jam factory nether which is also bad as I spend a lot of time upgrowning up there as my mum lives in the village and her partner works at at Wilkins , Might have to pencil it in!.

I live in Chappel/Wakes Colne so will be attending both the Aldham rallye, probably will be in my Toledo with a morris 1100 in tow. Also the cider fest cos my garden backs on to it (beer fest week is a very heavy week for me - neigbours work behind the bars so many cheap pints )

2nd Tuesday of every month, theres a little car meet on a cricket ground at Ashby Folville, nr Melton Mowbray, Leics.Its a quid to park your car (otherwise free), so has allsorts of kit there. Last month included everything from a Wartburg through to a Ferarri Dino. I will eventually get some photos posted (they're on a mate's camera).Its a nice evening out, with a hog roast, vat of curry, outside bar etc etc.

This Sunday 2nd August there's a cracking show on at Helmingham hall near Ipswich in Suffolk.I went last year, was a huge amount of cars of alsorts with many of them doing the parade up and down the main drive which seems to mean flooring it down the straight! I would post the link but i'm on my phone at work so you will have to google it.It's £8 each to get in but well worth plus i'll be there!
