I have been offered or threatened, as the case may be, with possession of a Rover 1S60 but most peeps of my acquaintance with 1S60 fettling skills have expired yet it seems to an ideal* replacement for the diesel engine bodged into my motorbike.

Is there someone here with the knowledge?

Googling suggests a turbine. Sounds fun. Usually pretty simple to get running. Also pretty easy to cause them to explode if over speed. Is the controller included with it?

How did you obtain that.

Unless it's attached to a water pump or a generator it's an expensive and noisy way of making hot air; if it is attached to a pump or genny it's still an expensive and noisy way to make hot air but you can pump water or make electrickery at the same time.

Now that would be fooking ace at a "steam" rally in the stationary engine section.

Bollocks to sticking it in a motorbike - thats just a pipe dream filled with pain and lots of problems that wouldnt make a practical machine - just bodge the diesel engine a bit better.

You'd need a mighty high geared kick-start..

It's a fun thing to have but it's going to be difficult to package all the bits you need in there isn't it?

Has it had the MLS HG & Oil rail fitted?

If not - Barge and Pole spring to mind.
