It is. I did the pollen filter with proper vw seal/foam gasket. And resealed the bonnet pull cable.

After the downpour yesterday it seems to be just slightly musty (as before )

Mileage is totally arbitrary at this age/price. There will be sub-100k Passats in worse fettle than this one for sure.

Test is out next month. Couple of doors don’t open. Sounds like a pulley is getting a bit tired - sounds rougher than usual when running. Rear brakes are shite aparrently. Has an oil leak.

 

It’s pretty filthy throughout.

 

Will be bridging it this week unless you want to wire me £100 and I’ll come get you from Gloucester station at the weekend.
