Hey all

Noticed this little number on gumtree earlier

https://www.gumtree.com/p/rover/rover-620si/1250333222

Just to let you all know! Looks like it needs to be snapped it! Wish I had the cash let me tell you!

If anyone is interested maybe I could help sort collection....

Looks a nice car, maybe next time post it in the ebay thread then at least it's in with all the other prospective purchases/fetish items in one place.

Going by the numberplate, it's a close relative of the ex-Bo11ox Dopehead Cast-off 214SEi.  Presumably it was sold by the same dealer at very nearly the same time.

Thanks thats really interesting, if only I could Magic £300 great British pounds I reckon he'd have a deal.

PS The guy has messaged me - he will take £300 notes: recent Back and mid section of exhaust

Had one, loved it. Mine was that dark red colour.

Mine also had the optional gaffer taped wing mirrors and strange boot stains.

You won't be disappointed if mine was anything to go by, just watch for rot in the rear arches.

Certainly will, I can insure it for as little as £50 a month. Ideal. Gas wise, I remember my old mans 1.8 wasn't bad and averaged about 22-25 mpg round the doors. Was a splendid car and wasn't a slouch. Think his was an S Reg. S***AAW - can't remember the numbers. Had really nice trim too. I am really excited about getting the Rover. Wont have the cash till weekend so I'm hoping he will keep hold until then.

Impressive MOT history also.

Sorry i missed your post, i really liked mine, it had the Rover T series engine rather than the Honda lump like yours but you won't be disappointed, there's very little to moan about other than rusty rear arches.

Some Pics as Promised.

Only one problem that I can see, the weep from the gearbox for the clutch pedal as can be seen in last pic. Easy fix ? Looks like its just a gator.

Yes indeed, will have a go at cleaning her up later!!!

Just need to sort that gator on gearbox

OH and most importantly my third party stereo slotted straight in, will keep original. Cant believe it plugged straight in!! I didnt expect the connections to my stereo to not need a harness adapter. So everything like stickers , mats etc will stay with the car.

Very good condition spare wheel too!
