Got the nod from the driver of this Fantasia Green Lupo

Dropping some scrap metal off today, saw this old wagon and went to have a closer look

Bloke was working on this getting it ready for Bromley pageant.

He was a bit of a character to say the least! Also had this tucked away 

A couple of Bimmers spotted in the vicinity 

And some new stock at Fairmont - they have a classic meet Sat am

Just down the road, one of the guys at the local garage has been doing up his T4 - on air suspension, just finished the paint

More bits at Fairmont - Camaro and Golf came from the NEC auction last weekend, along with an XJS. Chevy runs beautifully and is surprisingly quiet

Fairmont had a bit of an open day, plenty of interesting stuff dotted about all over the industrial estate, I expect there were lots I missed too as I only stayed an hour or so. Free coffee and pastries looked temping too!

This one's odd. I thought it had to be one of those faux-vintage things used as a promotional vehicle. Badged as a Morris but comes up as an Austin from 1959. Any ideas?

I think that's an Asquith Shetland, built on a Reliant Kitten or Fox chassis.

That SAAB is far better than that Bug. It seams to be a bit confused as to what it is meant to be. I've never understood why people mix vintage accessories with modern wheels. They must have spent a lot doing the car, but the concept is just mixed. I'd have put 6-volt style wing and headlamps on and gone for stock width 15" domed hub cap wheels with 135s on the front and 165s on the back, painted with a whit rim and a centre to match the interior.
