Puma roffle reloaded - Erm...looks like it's sold outright...!

Recommended Posts

Seeing as the last roffle was actually a sweep based on the Grand National ( and that was scuppered by site downtime, I'd better get on and roffle it properly.
Details of the car itself: 2000 W-reg Puma, it's done 101,600 miles, 1.7 litre engine. MOT September, clutch needs care but still good enough to spin the front wheels in the wet from standstill/will make the tyres chirrup in the dry if you get it right, so take care of it and it's got thousands of miles left in it; slight miasma of petrol if filled up to the brim but it's only really noticeable if left standing with a full tank; good new-ish budget tyres; brake discs and pads for the front supplied (yes, I've not changed them yet: AMC Rebel supplied them with the car...! I might get around to it this weekend.). Everything works, including the air conditioning! There's a small tear to the driver's seat bolster where it's worn, and the "door open" indicator also stays lit but it's telling porkies.
Location: Wetherby.
£5 a go.

Miasma - for fucks sake.

mid 17th century: from Greek, literally ‘defilement’, from miainein ‘pollute’.

I'll have a cheeky first tick.

I'll take 39 and 43 whilst we're at it. It'd make an ideal autotesting replacement for the Moogs dearly departed Starlet.

Done - although if you want to make sure of it, special shiter's rates are available... ;-) - but that does sort-of spoil the anticipation of a roffle!

Oh dear - it would appear that someone's decided to take this on by actually buying it off me instead, so that's the roffle zapped!

Collection thread will no doubt be along in due course.

That's ok, no doubt it'll be Roffled again in six months.  Good luck to the new owner!

Unbelievable.

Do today's kids have no respect for the roffle?!?

Well done that man!

Not had a Ford since I had a mk1 cortina to bez round the field in when I was 13/14.  I did intend to keep it but my brother used it for 12 bore practise instead (as his efforts to hotwire it failed).
