I've put off Englandshire based car meets for years on the basis I can never afford the fuel to drive to them although I will hopefully be moving to Glasgow in the next 6 weeks with a shagged Triumph as my sole form of transport. Given that me driving from here to Glasgow is the same distance as driving from Glasgow to Leeds I should actually be able to manage Derby once I move! Assuming at the time I have money (probably won't), free time (probably won't) and a working car (probably won't).

Go the east coast - West Lothian route to Glasgow, you'll be fine. Plenty of shiters en route.

Aberdeen, Dundee, over the bridge to Fife, over the bridge to Edinboghorrorish, Bathgate, Airdrie, home run. Smashing.

I'm up for a scottish trip, or anywhere in my old 305. Went to Portugal and back last year. No probs. Does that mean my vehicle is NON SHITE?     AARGH!!  The ignominy of it.

 Will I therefore have to buy some real shite from Cannock for under £100 ?  Not sure my tool box is equipped enough for that.

10th/11th of June is about the only weekend I can't do, it's my mate's 30th and we're going to Croft for the BTCC. Can do more or less any other weekend bar April 22nd.

I too would not be able to make the weekend of the 10th, but all else is clear currently. We are trying to book a June/July holiday ATM though, so hoping there is a SF date set soon so I can avoid a clash!
