I picked up a 51 plate 2.0 petrol crv today. It only has one key so no fob . The key only locks and unlocks the drivers door. So before I start looking at fuses and broken wire in the door. Does anyone have one and what should it have in the way of keys or fobs. Also it has history up to 130,000 a couple of years ago. All main dealer but no stamp for a cambelt. I know it's around 100,000 miles so any of our knowledgeable garage owners give me a guide price if I wanted it doing. Ta very much.

I have the same (I presume mk2) 2.0 ivtec engine has no Cambelt.

Mine has 2 black keys and 2 fobs, also a grey master key.

No mine is a mark 1 old shape. I have Googled a bit and I think it has a belt. I have seen replacement fobs on eBayour but don't want to just order something that's no good. It does have a folding honda branded picnic table in the boot. So if all else fails I can have a picnic on the drive.

51 plate could be the last of the mk1 and cambelt !

Is it a west one special edition ?

Some of those were a strange run out spec and may not of even had central locking

Yes after a bit of Googling. Mine is indeed a west one. Got the lucky sunroof and all the gizmos. The spec does list remote locking. I may give my local mobile key chap a ring and see what he says. Oh I remember the days of having to push all the buttons down on your doors and then lift them up to let people in. I don't care it's got a picnic table.

Iirc some of the mark1 trim levels came with fridges in the boot as an option/standard.

If you were really lucky, you might have got the shower attachment too :)

clever use of the spare wheel tray but surely showering in your own dirty water makes no sense at all ?

I think you have to pay Mr Honda to programme keys and fobs etc if you only have one, or none.

May or may not have an alarm if it is like other Hondas of that age.

Well I taxed this yesterday and started using it. Fuses for door locks OK so I shall have to get a fob and see if I can remember program it. Not the end of the world if not. Steering feels heavy , but could just be OK and I am spoilt by moderns. Needs two tyres on the back . I shall throw part worns on for now cos don't want to spend loads just yet. My so works at tesCo and he rang yesterday and said he had got 10 ltrs of magnatec fully synthetic oil for £18.00 , it's on sale and it's double staff discount week. Apparently it's my Xmas present. So I shall get a filter and plugs and air filter and do them next week when the kids go back to school.

Manual. On a 51 plate. It's got a full main dealer history until a couple of years ago. So I am assuming fluids and whatever would have been changed.
