I remember them well. There seemed to be loads of them around in the 80’s and 90’s. I always liked them and they’re still a nice looking truck but you never see them anymore. The last ones I saw were sat on some waste ground out of use gathering dust in Cyprus.

"Leyland boys" (i think -may take a bit of searching) on YouTube.  Young truck drivers in Jamaica hauling building materials around. Proper tear arsing 👍

This could easily be in the railshite thread, but it's not.

A Bruff road/rail DCE vehicle. It could turn using it's own turntable so could always run cab leading. Seen here at the Mickleover test track 29th August 1985.

This one is at the Wolverton Works in October 1988. After withdrawal, it passed to the Battlefield Line at Shackerstone.

These were sold in the UK. I've only ever seen one, years ago; as I lived near the importers it could have been a demo as it wasn't marked up with a business name. I doubt any exist here now.

A 50 tonne Berliet T100, complete with it's V12 28 litre engine narrowly avoids splatting a 4CV. Four were made*, of which one survives. They were built  for oil exploration** in the Sahara.

* T100's, not 4CVs there's a plague of them.

** again the T100's, not the 4CV's.
