Renault 20 L - the Povo spec version! Does anyone know of one anywhere??

I mentioned on my restoration thread that I would love to (long shot) own a 20 L someday. As you will see from the pictures and below, it is very different in appearance from all the other 20/30s. Does anyone know of one surviving anywhere in RHD form?

Yep - 1647cc.

I think the 1647cc engine was gone by the end of the seventies, smallest you could get after that was 1995cc.

Local electrician in our village used to run them as works vehicles, had a doom blue V reg 20 TS followed by a dark green X plate 30 TX auto, which must have been economical* to run.  I think he just did electrical work for people in the village as they own the golf course.

Might have been a 25 after that, not sure.  They're on Audis now.

Even in this state, they are such a classy motor.

Under the wire headlight covers, twin headlamps like an R30.  Is that a Swedish market thing or breakers yard up-speccing?

I think Swedish cars require headlamp cleaning, which might explain the R30 lamps.

It must be a swedish thing with the round headlights instead of square ones. The Norwegian ones did also had headlightwasher, but square lights (R20)

My dad has a R30 TX (Norwegian sold) and headlightwasher, and in the late 80s we had a '79 R20 TSA with square and headlightwasher.

Today I picked up the missing two rims to complete a set of Amil 5 1/2 x 14"

I even managed to source some TRX as well. At present I have got 3 of them, and a fellow Norwegian will search for a last one (from a car for spare that he had some years ago)
