I picked up a bike from madmopedracer who is based near(ish) to Glasgow, and rode it home to Essex. Had a great day out-decent cheap flight, a ride in a veg fueled Mercedes, and a enjoyable ride home to Essex, sunshine all the way.

 

Long distance collectioneering is to be enjoyed and encouraged!

Hi Dave, TVO still going. Its got a bit rattlely, possibly the water pump.So spent the weekend polishing it. Buying the other one was very much an impulse buy and I have no real plan. Thinking of running new one over winter and come spring time getting one of them sorted up. Then again plans might change!

Lovely to meet you. Glad it didn't use any coolant. I imagine that when it's full it's coming out of the top of the err expansion tank? Anyway if it can do 300 miles in one hit then I may have unnecessarily worried!
