swap 4 goona?

I do like these, last of the proper square ovlovs

These are veg friendly too.

They will run on veg but are buggers to start from cold on a strong mix.

I didn't try it on veg, good to know though.

No swaps I'm afraid, need space.

Are they leather seats I spy?

Yes and they are good, drivers seat bolster included.... I've not taken the picture to omit this just bit on purpose :-)

And a CD player player player.

Looks nothing like a Jaguar though...

It has a std Volvo CD / cassette, sounds good, very millennium ;-)

That is literally the car I'm after, right engine, colour and spec. Will probably be gone by the time I can get to it at that price though

Must. Not...

Ever worked out what MPG it's giving? My old S70 TDI manual used to get 45mpg no matter what and my current S60 D5 auto hovers around the high 30s. If it was somewhere closer to the former I'd be tempted.

I'm on my third 'phase 2' car, and fourth 'phase 1' car, and the phase 1s like this are so much more solid.

I was surprised on the mpg, 40-ish seems about the norm, maybe ja bit less door to door, being sensible on the motorway it's good.

It's only done 116k miles so just loosening up.

The OMG VOLVO SOUND BOX is the best standard-fit stereo I have ever encountered, even better than the set-up in The Aero (a Saab 'Premium' head unit with a CD autochanger, Harmon Kardon speakers and factory-fitted sub); I still have the one from my 1997 V70, which I removed before I got shot of it a couple of years ago  ;)

Lovely looking motor. I'm trying to find a loan where I can keep my kneecaps!

My 850 does around 40mpg locally and close to 50 on a run.

Thats begging to come south of the wall.

It seems almost certain it will, just waiting to hear back to a very quick response to my advert...sale tbc, hence first dibs is in place for now.

A Volvo going to England from Scotland... Is this a first?

Do tell if it doesn't sell, even more interested after learning of the fail sheet for my 190D

That looks the absolute bollocks! Gutted I don't have tge moolah, EK is literally about 30mins from here. Less if I pay Dave Fowler in curry to run me over there.

I'm tempted myself but the car 'account' is a wee bit overdrawn just now (by which I mean there's a big lump of savings missing which needs to be put back pronto)

A lot of interest in my green Volvo, first person who contacted me has confirmed his train arrives tomorrow at 18:50hrs, I suspect a collection thread is coming but that's up to him ;-)

Arse, was just looking for this thread as I've just sold a car, ho hum.....
