Ever worked out what MPG it's giving? My old S70 TDI manual used to get 45mpg no matter what and my current S60 D5 auto hovers around the high 30s. If it was somewhere closer to the former I'd be tempted.

 

I'm on my third 'phase 2' car, and fourth 'phase 1' car, and the phase 1s like this are so much more solid.

I was surprised on the mpg, 40-ish seems about the norm, maybe ja bit less door to door, being sensible on the motorway it's good.

 

It's only done 116k miles so just loosening up.

The OMG VOLVO SOUND BOX is the best standard-fit stereo I have ever encountered, even better than the set-up in The Aero (a Saab 'Premium' head unit with a CD autochanger, Harmon Kardon speakers and factory-fitted sub); I still have the one from my 1997 V70, which I removed before I got shot of it a couple of years ago
