worldofceri Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Never mind the Mazda, those wanky 'cherished' plates are the pits. More evidence you can't purchase good taste. Oh, and you'd have got a 'like' for the X90 if you'd got the Orion in shot! Sheefag, Rusty_Rocket and Skizzer 3

beko1987 Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 That looks like an audi a4 crossed with a Grenada scorpio
omegod Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 I'm sensing an Eastern European ownership for the Audi, I'd have liked the Mazda photo's if the last was of it burning

danthecapriman Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 It's a Buick Sport Wagon actually! A relative of the Olds Vista Cruiser. Top spotting Mr Fag, the yank iron is especially appealing. Magnificent Rustbucket 1
Sheefag Posted August 10, 2016 Author Posted August 10, 2016 I stand corrected Sir, thanks for that. Glad you like the Yank Iron, I wasn't sure how well it fits here and I've got tons of it. danthecapriman and Laseraligningfoofooflanges 2

There's quite a few on here who either like or own american stuff.
Sheefag Posted August 10, 2016 Author Posted August 10, 2016 You were spot on, SportWagon it is, I'm a bit disappointed by the way.I'd fantasised about 'Doing Donna' across the bonnet of that.
Sheefag Posted August 10, 2016 Author Posted August 10, 2016 Dan, perhaps you can tell me what this old truck is, it had signs of being a work in progress. I kinda think Chevy but I was so focused on the fueling arrangements that I forgot to look. Main & Reserve Tanks anonymous user and danthecapriman 2
danthecapriman Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Cab looks like a Ford F1 pickup to me.Was that really the fuel tank!?
Sheefag Posted August 10, 2016 Author Posted August 10, 2016 I reckon you're right, now you've said that, part of the letters F & O are just visible on the dash if you click the picture. That definitely was the fuel tank and what you don't get from the pic, is the temperature was over 100f at the time.To touch any piece of metal was very painful. danthecapriman 1
danthecapriman Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Imagine trying to drive it like that over here! I'm particularly taken with the hand primer pump thingy in the fuel hose. It doesn't even look like it's secured to the bed anywhere.
Sheefag Posted August 10, 2016 Author Posted August 10, 2016 It didn't look like it was, I guess he just drove gently and kept it full.
Sheefag Posted August 10, 2016 Author Posted August 10, 2016 The front needed work as well andrew e, Skizzer and danthecapriman 3
