Never mind the Mazda, those wanky 'cherished' plates are the pits.  More evidence you can't purchase good taste.

Oh, and you'd have got a 'like' for the X90 if you'd got the Orion in shot!

I'm sensing an Eastern European ownership for the Audi, I'd have liked the Mazda photo's if the last was of it burning

It's a Buick Sport Wagon actually! A relative of the Olds Vista Cruiser.

Top spotting Mr Fag, the yank iron is especially appealing.

I stand corrected Sir, thanks for that.

Glad you like the Yank Iron, I wasn't sure how well it fits here and I've got tons of it.

Oh it fits in very well! The more the better as far as I'm concerned. There's quite a few on here who either like or own american stuff.

You were spot on, SportWagon it is, I'm a bit disappointed by the way.

I'd fantasised about 'Doing Donna' across the bonnet of that.

Dan, perhaps you can tell me what this old truck is, it had signs of being a work in progress.

I kinda think Chevy but I was so focused on the fueling arrangements that I forgot to look.

Cab looks like a Ford F1 pickup to me.

Was that really the fuel tank!?

Posted

I reckon you're right, now you've said that, part of the letters F & O are just visible on the dash if you click the picture.

That definitely was the fuel tank and what you don't get from the pic, is the temperature was over 100f at the time.

To touch any piece of metal was very painful.

Imagine trying to drive it like that over here!

I'm particularly taken with the hand primer pump thingy in the fuel hose. It doesn't even look like it's secured to the bed anywhere.

Posted

It didn't look like it was, I guess he just drove gently and kept it full.

The front needed work as well
