When Bub says he is on your doorstep, he is likely actually on your doorstep whilst still in an actual car. ;):)

Looking forward to seeing the next part of the story. Just been having a cuppa sat in the garden reading all the paperwork. Truly stunned to find receipts from 1998 in France I think. Looks like a previous owner travelled abroad and had it serviced there. Also enjoyed reading the ling term test of a zx 1.9d a avantage, the same version as mine.

Yes, apparently the first owners had a house there, hence the high early miles!

Just got to bubs, and he took his shirt off.. Not sure where this is going...

Why? Do you fancy a dizzler A4 then? :)

I'd rather punch myself in the bollocks with a running chainsaw.

All Citroens, all the time.

Why are there numbers on the roof of your caravan, Bub?  Is it a high speed police pursuit caravan?

Something to do with the datatagging marks on it. It has a serial number on all windows, doors, roof and panels

A PURPLE James?

*Spaff*

O/T but what's the story behind that particular model?  I literally had no idea other people like vacuums.  I'm the person who reads other people's serial numbers and tells them how old they are - much to my wife's utter disgust.

Dirty engine

clean engine. Unfortunately can't read the engine number as the plate is corroded. Would be interested to know if it's original still.

Cleaner engine after attacking it with various degreasing agents found in the shed.

All is very well in xantia land. Theres a slight wheel shake at 65+, growing at 87 which is whwn I backed off. The wheels were quite warm when I pulled in, so I took the hubcaps off just incase its those, but a good balance up may be in order.

Its also fucking hot in here with all this glass!

Not sure if I find the front seats comfy or uncomfortable tbh, more testing is needed.

So, over and out for now, gonna get down the road a bit
