Not I'm sure I'm doing this shite collection thing right. No car to wash and polish but do have a wallet with some spondolics in. So up at silly o'clock this morning to drive to the other side of coventry to feed these little darlings* as my daughter is away on her jollies.

Stumbled out the front door half asleep still and discovered my Pug well and truly blocked in by the neighbours cars. oh well, looks like I'll take the ZX then. Two grateful cats fed and watered and let out to spend the day frolicking in the sunshine.......or more likely fast asleep in their cat house in the garden.

Noticed the ZX was slightly low on fuel so headed off to the petrol station and filled her with 37 quids worth of finest Texaco diesel. A quick tap of the calculator revealed 51mpg on that tank then, not complaining at that, who said old cars are bad for the environment? Then realised its customary to do a petrol station shot, ok its not the car being purchased but who cares!

Then back home and toast and coffee for breakfast while waiting for everyone to turn up. god this car purchasing is hard work!

I'm purchasing the 50 quid citroen zx from beko. Beko is purchasing the Xantia from bubs. My house is the meeting point as its central. Bubs is then taking beko back to Derbyshire to collect the xantia of many autoshite owners. I'm sat here deciding what vinyl to play next whilst awaiting delivery of the low mileage* ZX
