Lancia Gamma II Coupe

Hi all. Well, the time has come. A year of fun and games keeping the Gamma on the road feels like I've done my bit and now it's time for someone else to fight the good fight.

Bad bits; MOT just ran out and, a few days before, a cylinder head gasket let go. Bodywork a bit scabby (photos flatter it) and the wiper stalk is broken.

Good bits; structurally solid, wonderfully original, brakes recently overhauled, has an electric power steering pump so no snapping ca belt risks and generally stuff works.

When it's running, it's wonderful to drive and has a style all of its own. Once up and running this is an amazingly rare and beautiful car that has got to appreciate.

It's currently tucked up in its garage, so come and have a look but do bear in mind that it's currently not running and will need trailers get away.

Price? Let's have a conversation around the £3k mark. Give me a call on 07831626714 - "wots ur best price m8?" Texts will get the caustically abusive response they deserve

What a glorious thing to see.  I wish you the best of luck selling it.

Are head gaskets as awkward to do on these as they are on most flat fours?  I can't remember what the engine bays of these look like.

They can be done in situ but it's not the easiest job. The engine bays are quite big

Betaboy - the beige phone is ringing !    (where's he got to ?  He did some brilliant updates a few years back)

THAT is just a thing of beauty. Thankfully I can't afford it. Good luck with sale though.

Now that deserves to go to a good home... Which is why I can't buy it. But best of luck with the sale, it's a super looking car!!

Ooo.  Hmm.

Do you have a tame specialist who has done good work on it for you, and who might be persuaded to get it sorted out for reasonable sums?  I've had my eye out for a sensibly priced one of these for ages, but I'm not well placed time- or skills-wise for a DIY project.

I'd love to run that as a daily with a Subaru lump installed.

Or, for the full Tomorrow's World experience,

I'd love to run that as a daily with a Tesla Model S lump installed.

Just imagine.

Richard Thorne have done work on it. Good but not the fastest turn around. Tanc Barrett have done a number of these and, if I were to keep it, it is probably where I'd send it and then there's Gonella Brothers in Catford who used to look after my Fulvia who are pretty good

Always loved the look of these Lancias, they have such a futuristic shape to them and should surely be more highly recognised in the general classic world. It seems that the Lancia badge remains a well kept secret to most and it's a shame that we in the UK didn't get to sample some of the later models from their range.
