I've got two of those, they are really supremely comfortable. They are out of 'narrow body' Starions, they're much better than the widebody ones.

These are in bonus velour.

Does anyone remember that seat the salvager made out of a fiat or Renault front end. It looked horrible. You sat on the curved metal bonnet.

Here it is - whizz along to 20:12 to see it in all it's luxurious glory

And to think I was about to scrap my donor car!

Why I'll throw out my kingsize divan and memory foam topped mattress and roll the old panda into the bedroom!

I'll sleep on the roof, the dog can have the bonnet and the interior can house my collection of old tyres that I can't be arsed to take to the tip filled with socks and underpants!

Marvellous I'm even going to use some of that leftover loft insulation as a duvet.

I'm a big fan of that upcycling shite, provided I'm on the right side of the markup.

£10 bought me a V8 engine from Ebay that lived for a while in a Sunday treat kit car.

Every Sunday the sun was shining it was hauled out and caned round the back roads of Yateley.  This did not suit the engine very well and it suffered from accellerated wear to the extent of the bores being described as "Oval".

I thought, surely it cant be that bad and scooped it up in the boot of my now Ex Wifes car but my local engineering shop took a gauge to it and it was beyond help being 2nd oversize before it went oval.

The Pistons went for £10 each as door stops/novelty ashtrays ( it came with the last set of pistons too so £160 for doorstops), the heads went for £50 each to somebody rebuilding a P6 but the oval and scrap block went for £100 to make a coffee table like wot the nice Mr Clarkson has.

Some time in the future these will be worth much more but turning a tenner into loads suits me fine.

Right place right time and following on the TopGear bandwagon for the win

Being a car mad kid I'd have loved that Corsa bed between the age of 5 and 15.

I quite like most of the items on this thread so far but the original beetle windscreen desk isn't one of them.
