Has this fitted by Ford from new

 

 

Needs to go - rattle can of paint made up to Ford colour included

 

Did have a problem switching from Petrol to LPG but bodged sorted with this copy of the real Ford Focus wiring diagrams - included with car. The in-tank LPG level sensor has an issue and sends an empty reading to the LPG brain even if the tank is full, the system willl not activate LPG mode if it sees the tank empty. The winning move was to fit a resistor to simulate the tank 1/2 full so now it LPGs. The tank has a mechanical level guage as well but a full LPG tank does me over 200 miles so I just use the trip meter and fill LPG after 200 miles.     Castros_bro 1 ; 0 LPG Focus

 

 

All 835 pages of Focus wiring diagrams also covering the fantastic Zetec LPG. The LPG system seems to be  unusual in the respect of delivering liquid to the injectors. Would make an ideal donor of a LPG 1.8 Zetec for a Caterham 7 clone kit car.

 

 

Two full size spares with good tyres and a spare spare space saver.

During my ownership never failed to start nor failed to get me to work as some wanky tosspot is bound to comment.

 

Doubles up nicely as mobile greenhouse but this does prevent access to the LPG tank wiring.

Percy castros_bro Thrower's  gardening hint No 379:  Seedlings will grow much stronger if genitally moved rather them remaining static. An Focus coldframe is superior to an unheatred green house for this reason particularly important when growing  seedlings of self supporting giant sunflowers 3m high with a 5kg seed head as in the previous photos.

Other bonus of the liquid injection is that there is no warning up and switching over. You can run it Lpg 100% of time.

 

Had a new Lpg pump and service (@£500) just before Castro started propagating.

I'll rate the heating in a Focus 1.6. Just one of its many quality features. The one thing I cannot get my head around is the truck like gear change from second to third, why have they chose such a poorly weighted set up like this, I often feel like I'm piloting a 7.5 tonne with the bizarre 'out and across and up' change it requires.
