When Will wasn't looking, I sneaked on the "214S" trims to cover the scabby steels, what say ye?

Yay or nay? (He bloody hates them!) :D

On a Rover they're fine, but... I'm with Will

After seeing how well yours looks on the pepper-pots, he's regretting selling them to you now!

The BX would look awesome on those Rallye wheels I sold too!

Well, if it's any consolation I have a set of lovely* Picasso alloys for sale ;)

The BX Estate is such a good looking car. Nice one on the MOT pass!

I liked this, just so that I could unlike it.

My personal favourite choice for a BX is the original unvented steels painted light grey.

Last night I was cursing myself for selling the Rallye steels, and realised this would look just as good on its original steels, in bodywork colour.

RE light grey, that's probably an even better colour. They will look a slightly off silver, like clean new steelies on moderns in Europe. AND some oxide primers come in light grey, so I won't even need a topcoat... You, man, are a genius!

My BX came with scabby pale grey steels under the original trims (one of which went missing). I tried all sorts, but the winning look was to repaint the rims white and fit the little black centre caps from a povvo 205 (or early Berlingo if you want the right badge).

It's filthy there, but that combo suited the poverty-stricken "Preview" very well.

Looks good to me! a brighter (or cleaner) grey would look better though.

Yeah, go for a grey that's brighter than white, that'd work. :D

Beautiful view from my work window....

My white estate had pale grey, slightly metallic wheels.  It was as if Citroen had painted them in primer and given them the barest dusting of pixie dandruff.  Very odd, really.  Was fond of the not-Vauxhall trims I put on it in the end.  It's a shame you're on 14"s, the white Synergie wheel trims I've got would work a treat but you'd need to be on 15"s to do it.
