They aren't too bad if they are adjusted properly, nowhere near as bad as a Fiesta 1.3

They're great engines, far better than the VAG shit fitted to the godawful Felicia I was unfortunate enough to own some years back.

Maggikk Mottahs....

1.) My distributor ceased to perform as advertised (130LSE) >> breaker 105S dizz >> strip completely both/rebuild as 130LSE. The 'U' piece which carries the bob weights is 'deform/rivetted' to the top of the dizz spindle and the join had failed - straight swap...c.£5

2.) Acc cable snapped so I replaced it with a 'tandem bike length' brake cable, lead snot at the pedal & a brass electrical connector at the Carb end - c.£3

Rally team were 'No exchange rate = No english money' hard up when over here.... In the RAC, a bent pushrod in their 130R was resolved with a quick scapyard sortie....

I think theyre GRRREATT!

Thanks for the positive comments, Mr & Mrs W W are now the proud of the Skoda Favorit affectionately known as Stinky. Due IT incompetance I couldn't post a collection thread on Sunday. Stinky didn't miss a beat all the way home to Nottinghamshire

. I added some Redex as I filled up at Denton and Stinky let out a big blue fart just outside Glossop. A good drive through the peaks on the A6 and home.

Stinky has had a good wash and vac. I got a spare wheel, jack and wheelbrace from a breakers this afternoon after work. If anyone knows of a Favorit tailgate available give me a nudge.

Great little car with plenty of labels stuck in the engine bay detailing service and some hammerite work on the rear arches. Also thrown in are a couple of photos taken for the failed collection thread as we entered into the spirit with Mrs WW holding the foreground props.

Thanks for the welcome. I shall start a new thread well away from the words Sale and For.

It was worth it for those wheel arches alone.

Top purchase! I very much enjoyed the five or so years I spent driving one of these. Do keep us posted as to how you go on with it.

Gorgeous

Get on Skoda Owners facebook and ask for a tailgate. Someone's bound to have one.

Top marks for the smile/pity look from a stranger as you photograph a coffee cup on a station platform.

I assume you also bought some Costa porridge and then applied it to the rear quarters?

Moi? Nah, it's not worth the shipping. I'd rather use clingfilm!
