Junkman Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 This sounds rather interesting*, so I thought an Autoshite delegation might want to attend. The inaugural event will take place on 03 April in - you guessed it - Bromyard, which itself sounds terminally shite. It is conveniently* located between the similarly arrestingly named Bringsty and Bredenbury. For more info, look here: http://www.bromyardspeedfestival.co.uk/
Sloth in a bowl Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Man, that looks seriously like the shitest car event ever. Most tempted to attend. Junkman 1
Junkman Posted March 9, 2016 Author Posted March 9, 2016 Yeah, we could even come up with some kind of game, for added entertainment*.
Pillock Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 That looks wonderfully dire. They have a "tyre demo" and "stalls". It appears to be on the same level as a school fete with some added driving around at slow speed Junkman 1
bub2006 Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 How many shite cars can we get in attendance. Bonus points for anyone who can get my van from catterick. Hiab necessary eddyramrod, chaseracer and Junkman 3
D Spares & Tyres Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 The only motoring claim to fame in Bromyard that I know of is Holdens All bumpers for MG /Rover were painted there so anybody with one of those should bring it and be subjected to boring stories off the locals. I'll be there if the weather is OK, its only up the road Junkman 1

fraser.innes.3 Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 4 miles away from my place. You are all right. Bromyard is the shitiest place imaginable, so welcome. Can probably fit a few guys on sofas/inflatable beds if required. My local also does b&b. Junkman 1
dollywobbler Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 £35 entry fee? Sod that! May be up for turning up for a mooch though. strangeangel and skattrd 2

Cleon-Fonte Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 I was enticed until I saw the price, then realised a trip around the block in Bromyard (the 'street circuit' as they ambitiously call it) at 30mph isn't worth that kind of money and changed my mind. What were they thinking? Bamboocarman 1
chaseracer Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 I bet your mom makes wonderful cake. She does! Junkman 1

Junkman Posted March 11, 2016 Author Posted March 11, 2016 Who said a word about entry? I'm not entering anything. Why on earth would I enter anything?I will happily specate for absolutely free of charge and watch the whole thing keel over, which it inevitably will, while nomnoming away on Chaseracer's mother's cake.Entry. Don't be daft. Bamboocarman, skattrd, chaseracer and 4 others 7

For Fiats Sake Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 3hr plus drive for me, in the Micetro (do they still paint bumpers mines a bit worn in places). I'm on permanent Sundays and these do's are always on a Sunday! I could use my recently won "duvet day" ticket and attend, £35 is even dearer than the big shed in brum though! Hmmmm thinking....
dollywobbler Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 I think it has been agreed to attend but not enter. So it won't be £35. Dollywobbler Dirty Dyane Racing is a possible attendee. Can't yet confirm. For Fiats Sake 1
fraser.innes.3 Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 I haz a plan - All shiters meet beforehand and select the ultimate shite car from those that turn up. We all then chip in the £35, and this car then becomes the official autoshite entry. Junkman, fotorabia, catsinthewelder and 1 other 4
Cleon-Fonte Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 1. The Grandaland Greenhouse Gassers2. Chaseracer's Dirty Diesel 3. MTC's Silver Stellar (probably)4. Cleon-Fonte's Crap Citroen Junkman 1
