Evening, guys, new number plates arrived today, car looks better already, tidied up the parcel shelf. Bonnet now opens with ease, screen washers next, exhaust being done tomorrow, fitted new gear lever gaiter, Colour still not resolved may put it back to ICE BLUE, however its a big job, rather just blow the rusty bits in,having to sort the exhaust out was an unexpected job,

I once had a brief episode with a mk2 Rs2000 which was Nordic Blue

Hi Andy, checked out Nordic. its not that, called in Halfords in Northallerton. Spent time checking the tin caps against a small piece of metal taken off the car, one colour very close, but was Metallic, so on we go.

Is this the listing? Seller is selling other stuff. How did he get the photos? Report it to ebay if its iffy.

That's a weird blue. From the pictures you posted I would also say French Blue, but the mysterious eBay pictures look lighter. Sort of halfway between Wedgwood and French but French has a slight turquoisness to it and Wedgwood is a bit lighter and I think had been discontinued by then.

Loads of cars are 'sold' on eBay and then turn out to be either cloned or non existent, get onto it asap and let eBay know it's dodgy.

Cheers guys it turns out its the original owner, says he has it on auto relist,  sold before listing ended,over 2 weeks ago  it was listed last Friday as well  i have reported the listing to ebay, i will look at sorting the colour

Evening guys my Toledo has just been sold on Ebay, crazy,,  the listing says car location Penrith,  previous owner on my V5 called Armstrong,, Burneside Kendal,   if any one knows what on earth is going on please advise,  i have made a formal complaint to Ebay,, for what good it will do.  i dont see the point of the listing, by the way its a great, car,

I never got an answer to my question. I would be tempted to contact the DVLA or police and inform them in case someone tries to get a V5 on it.

I sold it to a guy called Joe Armstrong from Kendal so that would tally with the logbook you have. He had it for sale on Facebook then it surfaced in Penrith on eBay, I am guessing a trader trying to sell it on. Not sure why it's been relisted.

 

How much did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking? I thought the price Rob at RSV had it up for was a bit ambitious.

 

It is a fantastic car, in terms of colour however I can't really help with that as it does seem to be a bit of an unknown quantity.

Is it the same as my GT6 or slightly different? I have a tin of paint in this colour in the garage.

Thanks for that, just looked at cars on google, Triumphs in French Blue looks very close, i will check on Halfords web site for a touch up

Might be worthwhile taking it to a local good car paint place, they should be able to match it there and then.

How broken is it and what bit is broken? Will a small local garage sort it? Generic exhaust tubing is cheap. Ebay or post a wanted ad on the fb Toledo group. Stainless via the TDC is also available.

Hi guys, exhaust fixed, my garage, found a new centre box at our local Andrew Page, autoparts,  been fitted, great runs much better, have also set the carb, up.local body shop matching the paint so onward, just had it listed on preloved, and carandclassic to test the water good interest, new carpets here tomorrow from Cloverfield, then on sale. want a softop back or metal folding roof.
