Peugeot 504 for inspiration!

One of the best things about 504/604 ownership is that speed humps don't really exist though.

One of the best-riding and most practical cars ever made and they do that to it!

Only inspiring in the sense that it inspires me to be sick. 504s are just not that sort of car

Excellent forum, and perfectly in keeping with the 504's you've shown.

Showing them here, however, isn't dissimilar to putting hardcore drum and bass shit on the jukebox in a quirky country pub. Unless I've got the wrong end of the the stick.

I get it! I'm not a purist. I do appreciate a nice car though. But some of those images have scarred me for life!!

This one belonged to a mate,

2.3 diesel powered.

Was laying up for years until he bought and recommissioned it.

He sold it,and it unfortunately was given a poor respray, loosing all that hard earned character.

Sorry to this day I didn't do a deal with him for it,was such a comfy car.

I had a diesel 504 which I put a later engine in and 5 speed box. It was ace.

This is the 504 in its true habitat.

No other standard saloon in the world could stand up to African conditions like these cars

And that especially includes the Sahara.

Peugeot were the Mercedes of France and less annoying because they didn't spend much

time telling all and sundry how great they were.I like the fwd cars, but the 505 was the last

"proper Peugeot".
