When I was at uni I worked in a private school kitchen, and they used these things to run food and stuff between sites.

 

I was driving one back and a student walked out in front of it, it was light, and I managed to get the rear wheels up as I came off the grass and onto the tarmac courtyard.

So an update.

 

I went to look properly at the weekend.

 

Turns over, doesn't start, but the HT lead between the coil and the dissy cap was chucking a massive arc out, so that's shagged.

 

Tyres are all shot, and 155 12C aren't easy to find

 

Arches had lips, but the leading edge to floor had rotted, the cab floor was rotten, the strut tops also rotten.

 

The sensible thing at this stage is to walk away..

 

But who ever had fun being sensible?

 

Chassis seems pretty good, bed is in decent shape aside from some light scabs on the drop sides.

 

So I made a bid that would allow me to sell the kiddie killer on the front and cover my towing costs and still have a few quid for beer and mig wire and gas.

 

And he accepted.. 

I really don't need another project, however I didn't want it to sit there for another 3 years rotting into oblivion either.

 

Tat saved... just gotta figure out a way to get some steel into it now

There are a set of rascal or hijet wheels and tyres on eBay atm for 50quid. I need that size for my trailer.
