Scotoshiters Daein the Auctions Sat 30th Jan!

I'm thinking I might make a weekend of it, drive up Friday after work, stay somewhere around Dumfries. Do the auction Saturday then stay over Saturday night (currently undecided where) and have a leisurely/scenic drive home Sunday.

I can't go now, my sister is coming that day. I was going to put her off to the following weekend but something has come up then too. Social life FRO.

After collecting the Volvo I'm now doubtful. I'd like to get it serviced, the headlamp fixed and a couple of other bits done before driving it 600+ miles (mostly at night).

Neil, I do plan to bring the Volvo "home" to visit SVMland but I'd be happier doing it after I've sorted a few bits on it.

Look at it this way, there's more chance of it coming to Crail if I don't do the auctions

Would the Phoenix be a better meeting point on Saturday? Better for the west coast crowd to get to and equipped with fast food establishments for morning grazing.

Phoenix is closer to the auction down the a737 past the airport . If you're not sure how to get there then it might be better to meet at the forge.

 

To get tot he auction go down the m8 past the airport. Take the next turn off which is the a737 for Irvine . Follow that road until dalry , when you come out of dalry the auctions about a mile on the left . You can't miss it

Just checked the MOT history for the Rangey. Mileage is up and doon like a hoors drawers over the years...
