Small Van Shite

Merely purchase an estate car, or an MPV, spray paint the side windows the same colour as the rest of the bugger, Bob's yer uncle :-D

Removal of rear seats is optional, depends on likely useage of said hybrid vehicle.

I'm not 100% certain but I seem to recall that there was some wording on my insurance that confirm it was a car-derived van (mine was a mk2 Fiesta) and that it only had front seats, although the Fiesta still had all the mounts etc for the rear bench.

What the lad actually needs is an ex BT Bedford HA van in yellow with off cuts of Axminster in the back.

An unladen Rascal on a wet day is a good way to learn 10 mph drifting Yo!

Utterly hopeless for getting anywhere though.

Are all micro vans still referred to as "Sooty Vans" or is that just showing my age?

106 van.

If you can find one.

I have a 106 van.

It's awesome* and grim in equal measures.  I've had it a few years and bought it while I still owned the red 106 Zest I sold to Castros_bro on here, which obviously means I'm an idiot as no-one needs two diesel 106's.

It is rather pointless because you get much the same space in a 106 car when you fold the seats down... with the added disadvantages of not being able to take it into the tip, being charged more to get across the Dartford bridge etc etc.

Never mind all that... what's the story with the 105E in the background????????

The Anglia belonged to a friend of mine, who is now clearing his yard of 100+ 'classics'*.  The old Fordy was so rotten that it was on the verge of collapse when we moved it.. but was eventually sold to a specialist breaker.

This is the only van that will really make him feel unloved and unwanted!

It's so uncool he will have no mates in no time!

This is parked up by the side of the road in Chorley - apparently he can "put a mattress in the back and sleep in it"

Aye right son, and with them ladders Rapunzel doesnt need to let down her hair.

I have got one of those and it's not a bad van with a bit of scope for chavving up. Your lad could do a lot worse, plus I find the insurance quite reasonable.

I chavved my povvo spec Envoy up with roof bars, SXi wheels and SXi seats. It also had a spoiler type thing on the tailgate. Probably not the behaviour of a 45 year old man.

Talking of chavving up, this is a 2.5 V6 IIRC.

It went for about 1k last year and was on SORN. Ex-Calamity James, part of his bankruptcy auction.
