Replaced two front tyres with Uniroyals.

Checked levels and lights etc.

Driven it for two months.

At some point needs a Aux/fan belt.

Shameless bump - will also swap for a van. or a Bike. Or some cash.  yay.

Pending the outcome of the Almera's MOT next week, I may well be in touch. it looks like a good wife_mobile.

It's an absolute dodle to drive, completely neutral.

Might even throw it it for an MoT.

** Edit - have taken it for MoT **

Posted

** Fail Alert **

Brake pads, 1x brake pipe. Welding. Exhaust flange gasket  (By the book MoT though - I know the tester)

Bugger.

So, impending arrival of red5 no.2 (literally impending) means that this is now sale or scrap. MoT still valid (yes, yes) until Feb 23rd 2016. none of it is drastic, just something I have literally no time for.

£100 takes it. Must be asap please.

What you need really need right now is a certain Lancia

It's in a very similar colour and is an absolute hoot to drive,

Completely not neutral in any respect.

Ask the present Mrs. barefoot who hates it with a passion.

When you say swap for a bike I take it you don't mean a shonky old pushbike? I have a selection of them...

More than anything I need space/bigger house/drive...:-0

Come on shiters, £25 a month for a winter hack + whatever it weighs in for/weld it/break it !

This site etc etc :-)

I'd love it, if it was less than 100 miles away I'd be interested but I don't really need it

Just re read thread. Regards mot failure sheet is it still ok to drive till Feb then?

Posted

Yep. I'd stick some brake pads in it. An alternator belt if I was feeling flush. No more than that.

I drove it for over a month as a daily.
