Any southern shiters are welcome to stay at foadwerx for free if paying for a hotel doesn't appeal.

But less of the 'southern', yeah?

The mrs has expressed an interest in attending with me to this one now!

Can't see it being suitable with the mini me's though as all under 8 :(

you can leave the site to drop them in Crail itself-and get a stamp to get back in

Looks like I'm coming along again. Just can't help myself!

This time I'm going to be adding a little lightness and altering the pump settings a bit ... Lets see if I can't beat my personal best of 17.353

Remember to bring a towbar and A-frame!

Chomp, are you coming down to borrow ours this week?

Let me know ASAP and I'll get it back from out blacksmith, and I'll give you a lesson.

WCPGW?

We've never had any trouble.

I'm sure you'll be fine.

TBF it wasnt me that said no .. it was missus. It was accompanied by a tut and that look.

I tried applying man maths and pointed out how much moog free time she would get into the bargain but it didnt wash.

On plus side I have talked 3 other mates into this. We are all going to lob in £100 and get something suitable for next year. Problem is that I think 205 and diesel is suitable and they are talking about BMWs

I'll be there, although whether I'll have the Winnatar zip tied back together in time remains to be seen...

I have some jobs Friday, but will have time in the afternoon for you.

Need veg?

About collectioning the Proton, on the way back, I'd say. Don't under-estimate how much longer a journey takes when A-framing. And you don't want to be rushing. Wor Will currently holds the A-framing land speed record (Samara towing). I wouldn't recommend challenging that!

Posted

Don't take the Proton to Crail, that's 40 odd miles of extra towing. You literally pass FOAD Towers (although actually getting to it is a small detour) on the way home anyway, the Forth Road Bridge route is open.

Looks like I have to withdraw my attendance because work. Arses.

I dont kjow when last admission is but don't spend time and money heading through after work if you'll only get a couple of runs!

I am going to have to pass on this due to the weather....Driving 1,000 miles through torrential rain to drag race a car that will spin the wheels at the merest hint of damp seems a little too crazy even for me.... rest assured I will attend at the earliest opportunity next year....

signed.... southern softie...

It's a union meeting but it's quite an important one. 1115 start, max 30 mins - it's just a vote so I can come to Crail straight from it.

I don't want my perm to get wet
