Just thought I'd run it through the History site to see previous MOT', and its already updated.

It does update very quickly, I had a look at one 10 minutes after I had entered the test result and it was there

Yeah, I've checked a few literally seconds after pressing "issue MoT" in another tab. It's instant.

It had a hooky mot on it as the previous owner transferred the reg,it's pretty hanging.

Comedy moment was the silencer had blown out completely so the owner bought a new one to fit.

I put the car on the ramp and gave him a grinder and took the dog out for his afternoon perambulation, came back to find he'd cut the silencer off but the new silencer had the wrong bore/flanges

So he drove it home with nothing apart from the down pipe,it was stupidly loud

That sounds like a complete death trap. I can just imagine that thing coming towards you, headlights askew and oozing fluid like some kind of crazy, deranged machine from 'The Cars That Ate Paris'.

It certainly does seem to update in real time.

Popped the Multiplier in for test today and left it with them.  Looked at it later on and it needs a lower arm and a track rod. Rang them from the comfort of the office 20 miles away and said thanks, please do the arm and rod as I already knew from the power of the Internets.  Wonder how well that cockiness will go down with many garages though

Had a look at Prince Charles' Aston. 18,000 miles from new, passing with no advisories every time.

Because he gets it dropped into AML for its lonnnnng winter fettling, I've seen it in there

And its all done in-house:

ASTON MARTIN LAGONDA LTD MOT Centre located at Newport Pagnell

This is a class 4, MOT Centre. Its VTS Number is 59506.

The hazard switch went through the dash last time it was pressed I'm sure :-D , happened to mine

Yes probably, but it was missing last test and didn't get a mention.

Site seems to be not live atm, obv too popular.

Lol I've just notices that, was going to brag about the Meriva getting a clean pass with only 1 advisory for a tyre but the site isnt working...

One thing that did happen though, is he didnt choose the right address, as he is on the system as Citygate VW (his day job) and the garage we go to for his beer money MOT's, and he chose the wrong address, so if the man from VOSA comes knocking I most certainly went somewhere else...

Don't think it works with Northern Irish plates. Shame.

now its all swansea that doesnt matter anymore

number goes into the tax and mot checker ok - still taxed mot ran out in april so will go thru another mot seems unlikely

I think the northern Ireland plate thing might be more to do with us having a different MOT system.

My bike spent some of its life in Scotland before I bought it, can see all its MOT history till it came over here

Hmm. So old dear passed away in August and it's just been sitting there since. Family friend has generously offered to list it so they can get rid. Could be a good deal. Let's just double-check it's not been in for an MOT:

Still might be an OK buy for export though.

That is not a bad fail list for a 15 year old pickup and apart from the welding it wouldn't take much to sort.
