This place is big enough that once you're in, you're in. They can't even see most of the yard from the office, and anyway there's usually groups of people removing brake pads for reuse etc so I don't think there'll be a problem.

In fact they're genuinely quite nice there. I went in just before closing on a Sunday, to get a starter motor for the F. Found one on a MGZR, so with ten minutes before the gates shut I start trying to remove my knuckles on the chassis legs etc. I mean remove the starter.

Lad comes over, "Erm, sorry mate, we're closing soon. Do you want a hand with that?". When from a scrappie I'd usually expect "Oi, clear off, dogs are out soon".

You can't see the office but have you noticed the city and tannoy?! Generally very amiable folk there. Went up other day to look at a fiesta for sale. Bloke in office near bridge said he wouldn't sell it me as it would be nothing but issues. I did have a problem with one guy there. Miserable twat who works behind the scenes in the garage. Asked boss about a vectra towbar and he advised me to go speak to him to lift it out for me to remove. Found him and spoke to him about it. His reply was I won't go shunting cars about on forklift for sake of a fucking towbar. I walked off went back to office to pay for bits I've got an boss fella asked about towbar. I said I'd spoke to him but he said he can't get car out. (thought I'd be nice!) boss replied by saying it's not first time he refused to do a job he is paid to do but it's certainly the last. Don't know what occurred with him to be fair!
